Love The One You’re With

We presented Love The One You’re With, a short play by Bruce A! Kraemer, directed by Joan Kane LIVE for one performance only on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Theater for the New City.

Love The One You’re With played in the Johnson Theater in the 26th Annual Lower East Side Festival on May 28 in the 2021 Lower East Side Festival at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue, NYC 10003. The Lower East Side Festival of the Arts is a three-day arts event that celebrates dance, theater, film, music, comedy and art being created by New York City’s talented emerging artists. Guests can attend any one of the many events and gain an in-depth look at the city’s art scene. By putting on this free event, the founders of the festival hope to contribute to the preservation and progression of innovation and creativity in New York. Theater for the New City gives special thanks to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation for its Quality of Life Grant in support of obtaining our Handi-lift Elevator. They helped greatly in the match for the grant from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). A project that gives disabled and frail elderly patrons and artists accessibility to our lower-level theater and to a large part of our production facilities.
