Give ’em Hell, Harry!

Ego Actus presented an Equity Showcase Code production of Give ’em Hell, Harry! by Samuel Gallu, directed by Joan Kane.

The show opened October 18, 2018 at Episcopal Actors Guild.


J. Dolan Byrnes* brings the fearless Harry S Truman back to life in an intimate portrayal. Imagine, an honest American President! In contrast to recent events, Truman was a man of integrity, guts, and a fierce dedication to the great American experiment. We see him take us on a grand journey standing up to generals, unions, banks, big business, Joe McCarthy, and the KKK. This one actor, Equity Showcase Code production will be presented at the legendary Episcopal Actors Guild.

Episcopal Actors Guild Information

The Episcopal Actors Guild (EAG) at 1 East 29th St, NYC 10016 was established in 1923 and is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. EAG’s mission is to provide emergency aid and support to professional performers of al faiths and none who are undergoing financial crisis. EAG helps qualified performing artists regardless of religion, race, national origin or ethnicity, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental ability, political ideology/affiliations, language, immigration status, or marital or parental status.
