Ego Actus presented an Equity Showcase Code production of Gideon by Judith Leora, directed by Joan Kane.
The show opened July 1, 2016 at The Paradise Factory in the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity.
In Gideon, the existential questions of John Paul Sartre meet the absurdity of Samuel Beckett in the LA apartment of two young women. Aria and Zoe are just a couple of girls trying to get by and reach out, but there is no exit when you are waiting for the cable guy.
The cast featured Phoebe Torres, Rachel Cora Wood*, Connie Castanzo*, Mary Monahan and Amy Gaipa*.
The crew included set by G. Warren Stiles, costumes by Cat Fisher, lights by Bruce A! Kraemer, sound by Andy Evan Cohen, with stage manager Rae Rossi and house manager Sara Minisquero.
